Come how you are.

Come how you are.

We don't have a dress code. You don't need to pretend you're something you're not.  In fact, on Christmas Eve, we wouldn't be surprised or offended if we saw some pajamas.  So come and grab a free cup of coffee, get comfortable, and make yourself at home.

Bring the kids.

Bring the kids.

Every Sunday, we've got something special just for your children and grandchildren. There are separate spaces for nursery (birth-3yrs old), pre-K/Kinder, and 1st-5th grade. Each includes a lesson that is tailor made for your child's age. When you first arrive, you'll experience a check-in process that is secure and fast. And you'll use the tag you receive to pick up your child when service is over.

*NOTE: On Christmas Eve, the nursery will be available. The rest of the family is welcome to join us in the main auditorium for some familiar songs, a quick message, and a candle light finale.

Some Things you may be wondering:

Mountain View is led by a team of pastors and staff. You can learn about all of them on the staff page.

We meet in the newer portion of the high school, with plenty of parking available in front of the two main entrances. When you arrive, you'll see banners at the entrances to the lot, and several signs and friendly faces to let you know you're in the right place.

Most people (including the pastors) where jeans on a typical Sunday, but you can wear whatever you're comfortable in. It's likely some people will choose to dress up a bit more on Christmas Eve to take advantage of the photo backdrop, or because it's just their tradition.  There's no pressure to dress a certain way and you won't feel out of place if you go more casual.

As you first arrive, you'll experience a warm greeting. Feel free to grab a cup of coffee as you wait for others to join you. If it's your very first time with us, stop by the first-time guest table and say "hi." We have a small gift for you and would love to help you settle in a bit. They can also direct you to kids check-in in the lobby if you have any children with you.

As you entire the auditorium , there will be some music playing (a live orchestra on Christmas Eve!). Most services start with 3-4 songs, some you will likely recognize for the holidays. Then a pastor brings a 30-35 minute message based on the Bible. In this advent season, you'll also experience the lighting of a candle and a short reading for each week.  On Christmas Eve, we will conclude with singing "Silent Night" together and lighting and raising our candles (we use LED candles - safe for the whole family, and friendly to our school setting).

Absolutely not, and we don’t even pass an offering plate during the service. There are some boxes on stands in the back of the auditorium for those who feel led to give an offering, but we don't give out of obligation or pressure , but out of a heart of joy (2 Corinthians 9:7). These days, most of our giving happens online.
